Erin Molan says Russian President Vladimir Putin’s “shirtless escapades” were the “butt of jokes” amongst NATO leaders this week.
“He was offended enough by the world leader's jibes to respond,” Ms Molan said.
She said something felt “off” about comments made by NATO leaders.
“If Putin wasn't responsible for the ongoing deaths of thousands of innocent Ukrainians and his own people, if he wasn't a narcissistic, homicidal maniac, if he wasn't pure evil, then yeah, maybe have a joke about his unorthodox ways.
“But given he is all those things I just listed, he doesn't actually deserve to be the topic of light-hearted banter.”
