Lori Fiechter here trying to use a tripod as a selfie stick. I wanted to show how tall the tomatoes and elderberries are. I need selfie stick lessons, but they gotta be free...

Today was a mishmash update: red beets, cucumbers, zucchini, and green beans. I have a video from last summer showing how to pickle red beets so I won't do that again. Stan suggested I pick them smaller since I have plenty of jars left over. Not a bad idea...not bad at all!
