Does the LevelHike PS2 HDMI adapter work on PlayStation (PS1) games?

LevelHike sent me a HDMI adapter for the PlayStation 2 (PS2) where I fairly review the product: https://youtu.be/uHErKDfd4ac

I received a question: Does it work on PlayStation 1 (PS1) games. Let's find out together. I use two test games here: Raiden Project and Tekken 3. Raiden Project is a compilation of the two phenomenal arcade games: Raiden and Raiden II.
