Picking out Rocks and Fresnos

Lori Fiechter here clambering around the rock pile by the barn to find more separators for the flower and herb gardens. Next spring when they work up the ground, I'll need to gather some rocks out of the field again!

I had several graduation parties last weekend--students I had as juniors. For one student, I really wanted to find some hot peppers to go along with his card. I was in luck--the fresnos are fire-engine red and there were plenty of them. Hope they keep ripening this week so I can take some more to my very last grad party this coming weekend.

I have two quarts of ground cherries now...I have a family get-together in early August; I need to save enough to make a pie for that!
