I don't know why, but I always think of this song, "Emmanuel," as a Christmas song! But... it's not really, is it... it's an all the time song! And that's great, because He is Emmanuel, God With Us, all the time, everyday, without a break... He's so faithful! And whatever situation or circumstance you're in today, He is present in the middle of it, close to the brokenhearted, tender to those in need, singing over you with delight and happiness. As you listen, rest in the truth that He is near to you!
