The Prophets Grave

The Prophets grave marks the final resting place for the Rev William Smith, who passed away in 1647 from the plague. On his deathbed, he specified where he wished to be laid to rest. He also said that if holy trees were planted on either end of his grave and they were never allowed to touch, then the local area would be free from the plague.
