Husky, also known as Siberian sled dog, is a medium-sized working dog with brisk steps and graceful movements. Compact body, thick fur, erect ears and brush-like tail, showing the genetic characteristics of the northern region. Among medium and large breeds, Husky is a particularly active, stubborn and independent temper. Perhaps this is because its pedigree comes from Siberian wolf, and it is the dog with the closest gene to wolf among the current breeds. For centuries, it has been growing alone in Siberia. At the beginning of 20th century, it was brought to America by fur traders. In a blink of an eye, this dog became the champion dog in the world-famous sled race. Nowadays, this dog is loved by people for its excellent companion dog.
