Christmas Island, one of Australia's hidden gems. Famous for two things, its red crab migration (the biggest in the world) and the International Detention Centre. But Christmas Island is so much more.

A tiny spot in the Indian Ocean, it is home to so many rare, endangered, unique, and endemic flora and fauna species, that it rivals the Galapagos Islands of South America.

But the best bit? It's AUSALIAN! And it's only a short flight from Perth, on the west coast.

So if you are a nature lover, an explorer, an adventurer of the Australian wilderness, or places off the beaten track, then head to Christmas Island. I promise you won't be disappointed!
