Two MUST HAVE tackle items for Mangrove Snapper Fishing

Mangrove snapper are a popular species of inshore and offshore fish. When targeting mangrove snapper, I always have a few key items in my tackle box. The first item is the right size and type of leader for the mangrove snapper in the area I'm fishing for. In clear water or when chumming up the snapper from the bottom, I'm using a lighter and more low vis line like Ohero Crystal Fluorocarbon. To get the bait down to the strike zone I use circle hook jigheads from Mission Fishin. These jigheads come in several styles, weights, and colors. I prefer red, white, and pink colors.
