Politicians come and go, but the bureaucrats that populate the unelected parts of our government persist administration after administration. Assistant Secretary of State, Victoria Nuland, who helped engineer the overthrow of the government in Ukraine in 2014, is surrounded by the same neocons responsible for aggressive American foreign policy and the failed war in Iraq. Defense contractors, multinational corporations and think tanks work together behind the scenes to bolster profits and play ruthless geopolitical games all while telling us we go to war for "freedom."
