Is there any real EVIDENCE that IVERMECTIN can be used to treat COVID 19 & LONG COVID?

Ivermectin is an anti-parasitic drug with antiviral properties and has shown to be effective in treating covid 19 as well as long covid symptoms such as loss of smell (anosmia), brain fog and headaches. Ivermectin is also shown to be beneficial in prevention of covid and there's argument for its use in vulnerable groups like health care workers, elderly, black and asian minorities especially in countries where covid vaccines are not readily available.
However, Ivermectin is not yet licensed or approved in several countries like the US and the UK, and regulatory bodies like the FDA and MRHA warn against the use of ivermectin for the treatment of covid.
