Visiting the Biskaia Bridge (Spain)

The Bizkaia Bridge, not far from Bilbao, is an old industrial structure that has become a cross between a funicular and a ferry.
It is one of a kind and relentlessly carries cars, trucks, and passengers between the two banks of the Ria, connecting Portugalete with Getxo. Since 2006 it was declared World Heritage Site for Spain, by UNESCO.
