Pregnant Transgender Couple Thought Baby Was Poop

A TRANSGENDER MAN, from New York, who thought she was having stomach cramps has given birth to her son in his bathroom. When 27-year-old, Nino, met 22-year-old, Joseline, she had been taking hormones to help with her transition, from female to male, for over seven years. Similarly, Joseline had been taking hormones to help with her transition for nearly five years, so the idea that they could get pregnant was inconceivable. However, much to their joy and disbelief, after days of complaining about stomach cramps and feeling nauseous, Nino unsuspectedly gave birth to his son in their bathroom. Nino thought her intestines were falling out of her - when in reality, it was the legs of her child. Whilst the couple are grateful for their son, they are wary of the judgement he may face growing up as the son of trans parents. Despite the uncertainty over the future of her son's life, Nino says she is the happiest she’s ever been.
