Today's participants in the Segue City Special are Chicago and Chaka Khan. Interestingly enough, Chaka Khan sang on a Chicago tune too once but that's not the one the Mayor is using today. His finished in the studio so he and Elvis have left the building and we're thinking of phoning in the segue for tomorrow instead of having to come back from the beach early... film at eleven...

Segue City is a recurring short-form programming element. At some point it will be a part of "The Big Kahuna." That’s an Internet Radio format that’s a part of Global Entertainment Technology that was created by Dain L. Schult.

It revives the art of mixing two songs together in a seamless pattern where it is tough to tell where the first song ended and the second one began. Sometimes the segues may also revolve around thematic ideas like matching or similar song titles.

Other times there are hidden meanings and Easter Eggs in the mix as well. We'll try anything because no two Segue City Specials will ever be exactly the same...
