Spotify wants to dominate podcasting. Spotify has been spending big bucks to sign exclusive podcasters like Joe Rogan, Addison Rae, Michelle Obama, Bill Simmons, and Kim Kardashian.
On the Piper Rundown we've been taking note and discussing Spotify's movement into the podcast space. Their goal is to gain more market share of podcast listening, while simultaneously improving the data surrounding ad placement.
