RULES
The rules are the same as regular chess, except for these changes. Layout a 5x6 with the darker squares in the bottom corners. Place white’s pawns on the 2nd row and on the first row setup: Knight, queen, king, bishop, rook. Black sets up the same way so the pieces are not mirrored. Pawns are not allowed their initial double step move option. Therefore en passant is not allowed. You are not allowed to castle. The first player to checkmate their opponent’s king, wins.
