According to the latest information, units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have been pushed back from the western and northwestern residential areas of Severodonetsk towards the channel of the Seversky Donets and the Azot enterprise.

An operation is underway to encircle the AFU grouping in Lisichansk and in the industrial zone of the Azot chemical enterprise. Up to 6,000-8,000 Ukrainian fighters may find themselves in this encirclement ring.
The only way to supply them actually remained the road to the UAF-controlled Seversk, located 30 km west of Lisichansk.
