Today's special: yellow! Wax beans & corn-silks

The potatoes are dying, the snap peas are gone, cherries are dwindling fast. Time for the next crop: beautiful Carson yellow wax beans! The corn is tasseling and the silks are bug-free, so far. I covered the blackberries to perhaps give enough protection from this unending heat and and sunshine. We had a promise of rain today but it was more like spitting in the wind. The forecast for next week looks a bit more promising...check back with me!
Have a wonderful 4th of July weekend. Thankful to be living in the best country in the whole world! Still the best.
