Friday Morning Devotions from Bethany Church, July 31, 2020

On Friday mornings our devotional will come from Samuel Rutherford's Letters. This morning we read a pastoral letter from Rutherford to a friend. In this letter we see Rutherford warning Lord Craighall about not letting his fears of what the king of Scotland might think and do override his obedience and fear of the Lord Jesus Christ. He calls on him to stand strong in his faith that no matter what this world may do God is his hope and shield.
