This trial has been live-streamed for the last 5 days and I missed it. Today is closing arguments. Why do I care? This case is connected to the obscene failure of Missouri Family Courts and the vast corruption that goes on there that I investigated for a full year. Theda Persons is a mom I met during my investigation into family court corruption who suffered the loss of her special needs son, Christian, after he disappeared in the care of her ex-husband Dawan Ferguson. Theda had tried to tell the court that Christian was not safe in Ferguson's care but the Guardian ad litem refused to listen. 18 years later after Christian went missing, Dawan is finally on trial for the murder.
