I had a family member tell me the other day at a get-together "aren't you glad we have all that covid stuff behind us now?"

What I could not reply was: in my life, I know of less than a handful of people... who did NOT give these people... a reason to do it again. If you lined up in fear like a dutiful "citizen" and "did your part"... YOU... are the reason they will do this again.
