L’Oréal Forcing Non-Essential Employees Back Into the Office During Coronavirus
L’Oreal, led by their new CEO Stéphane Rinderknech, is forcing their non-essential employees to return to the office in the midst of this deadly Covid-19 pandemic, potentially putting hundreds, if not thousands of lives unnecessarily at risk.
In a letter to employees, the company writes: “Phase 2 of L’Oreal USA’s Safe Together plan will begin on Monday, August 3 for employees in our New York City offices. As previously communicated in the Safe Together plan presentation, we will increase from the current maximum of 25% of employees onsite to a maximum of 50% onsite.”
In this segment, James dives into internally leaked emails, corporate propaganda efforts downplaying the coronavirus, and reactions from anonymous L’Oreal employees.
