This property had an assessed value of over 4.5 Million and a market value of close to 6 Million! The guys wanted to bid on the property, but figured the land would sell for over 2 million. And even after getting funding from investors, generating 2+ million dollars in cash is hard to do. So the guys where resigned this property was outside their reach. But when attending the sale, they where surprised when there was only 2 bidders left as the property reached $400,000. They watched as these 2 bidders battled until one of the bidders reached their limit at around 650K! Its very possible if it was not for the second bidder - the winning bidder could have won the property for $400,000! We never know what is going to happen at the tax sale.. The wining bidder won this property for around 10%-15% of its Market Value, WOW! Also, with more expensive property there is usually less bidders at the top.
