This 25-minute Guided Imagery for Relaxation and Social Anxiety begins with a gentle relaxation sequence that you can keep your eyes open, or close them.
Next, I take you through a visualization where you imagine a place that brings you comfort, confidence and peace.
Once you have built this place in your mind, we then travel to a situation that might trigger anxiety, fear or anger.
We then move to recall your peaceful place and the feelings that arose when you were there, implementing these emotions in the anxious situation.
We will then anchor and can recall upon the feelings of comfort and confidence so that you can approach these types of situations with ease and self-assurance.
