Highlights of Russian Military Operation in Ukraine on June 29, 2022

▪️Russian Armed Forces launched attack against discovered AFU positions near state borders in Sumy region.

▪️Russian Armed Forces liberated Dementiivka in the north of Kharkiv region and advance on Udy, Prudyanka and Pytomnyk.

▪️Clearing operation continues near Severodonetsk: Borivs'ke and Severodonetsk airport are fully liberated.

▪️“Pocket” is closing down around Lysychans'k: Siverskyi Donets river is crossed from north-west and Pryvillya has been liberated. In the south fighting continues at Rubber Goods factory and in Bila Hora. Stekol’ny has been liberated from the west: assault units entered the city from the west. Lysychans'k oil refinery is under full control: there is 4 kilometer till the closing of “pocket”. AFU retreat using single possible way through Bilohorivka — this causes the loss of Privillya.

▪️ Fighting near Bakhmut continues: units of Wagner's PMC managed to advance move forward into Klynove despite fierce resistance by the superior AFU forces. AFU continue to hold Kodema, Semyhir'ya, Novoluhans'ke and territory of Vuhlehirs'k TPP.

▪️Residential buildings damaged after AFU’s shelling of Donetsk, Makiivka and Yasynuvata, there are killed and injured people

▪️POWs were exchanged near the bridge over Yanchekrak river in Zaporizhzhia region. Fighters from Azov regiment have been returned to the Ukrainian side: they have been exchanged for Russian pilots among others

▪️ Russian Armed Forces continue to strike Ukrainian military infrastructure in Dnipro region: a number of targets have been hit in Dnipro and Synel'nykove.

▪️ MIG-25 aircraft of Ukrainian Air Force has been shot down by Russian Aerospace Forces near Bashtanka. Russian air defence means also have shot down MI-8 helicopter near Arkhanhel's'ke.
