Although these two subjects look seemingly unrelated, I will make a case for why every parent fighting for their kids at school board meetings in California needs to be concerned. I have sent two emails regarding the sexualization of our kids in the Placentia Yorba Linda Unified School ( #PYLUSD ) District with no response from the school board members or the district leadership. I did get a response from their communications person who essentially gave me state laws and the usual brush-off. I responded with an email asking for responses from the elected school board trustees and the district superintendent and of course got no response... not even from the communications person.
