Famous for its fascinating sights and refreshing waters, Valencia's Pranbat Falls is a must-see attraction. Prangbad is located in the Red River Valley, just minutes from the city of Valencia, Negros Oriental.

Pulangbato Falls in Valencia is a must-see attraction due to its enchanting sight and refreshing waters. The Pulangbato is located in the Red River Valley, just a few minutes from Valencia's downtown. The name Pulangbato is derived from the words 'pula' (red) and 'bato' (rock) (Red Rock). The Pulangbato Falls are surrounded by red rocks and thick green forestry, creating a picture-perfect scene. When the rocks are dry, they are yellowish, but when they come into contact with water, they turn red. Locals believe the presence of iron minerals is what caused the rocks to turn red, while others believe it is the sulphur emitted by Mt. Talinis.

During my time of visit, I found the entire property is lovely, clean, and well-kept. Definitely Instagram-worthy! Although it is not particularly large, it is enjoyable to explore. There are two waterfalls where you can swim. The smaller waterfall on the main level has been dammed to create a swimming pool, and the entire deck area has picnic tables and chairs to relax and take in the scenery. You can make a day of it by ordering food and drinks from the restaurant, but expect to pay resort prices😅. You can also spend the night at the Pulangbato Falls Mountain Resort.

The best way to get there is on a scooter, which you can rent for ₱500 ($ 9.10) a day. If you don't want to drive a scooter, you can rent a car or take a jeepney from downtown to Valencia town plaza and then take a motorbike taxi (Habal Habal) to the waterfall.
