Fried Squash – Sauteed Zucchini – The Easy Way - 100 Year Old Recipe - The Hillbilly Kitchen

Fried or sauteed, depending on where you’re from, is the easiest and fasted way to cook up all that summer squash and zucchini you are getting out of your garden. This is a simple recipe for a delicious side dish. It goes great with just about any meal even your summer cookouts, just wrap it up in a little foil or put the iron skillet right on the grill. It's gluten free, dairy free, egg free, can be eaten by vegans or vegetarians. Even picky eaters will love this recipe!

2 summer Squash/Zucchini
½ cup Chopped Onions
½ to 1 teaspoon of sugar
Salt & pepper to taste
Bacon Grease, Butter or Oil for frying
