New track to me Sandown Raceway in Australia. I didn't plan on racing as I never turned a lap at this track but I ended up jumping into a race session with only a few minutes in practice. So my brief practice session got me 2 laps before qualifying started.
I qualified P11so not terrible for not knowing the track.
I chose the Hyundai Elantra N TC for this race as it is usually more stable then the Veloster. During the race the screen was getting very glitchy and I started to really miss braking points and details for turn in. Not making excuses I had no pace since I didn't know the track. But it did casue me to have issues in some turns and resulted in spins that could have been avoided.

Track fact.
Sandown International Raceway is a motor racing circuit in the suburb of Springvale in Melbourne, Victoria, approximately 25 km south east of the city centre. Sandown is considered a power circuit with its "drag strip" front and back straights being 899 m and 910 m long respectively.
Sandown Racecourse was first built as a horse racing facility, dating back into the 19th century, but closed in the 1930s in a government run rationalisation program. Redevelopment began not long after World War II. A bitumen motor racing circuit was built around the outside of the proposed horse track (which was not completed until 1965) and was first opened in 1962 and held the race which became the Sandown 500 for the first time in 1964. The circuit hosted its first Australian Touring Car Championship race in 1965
