modeling, laser cutting and engraving, object recognition, picking, packaging, and even stirring.
When creating Huenit we aimed at developing the most versatile robotic arm for both professional and personal use. We are excited to see how Huenit gradually turned into the one tool to make all the crazy ideas of its users come into reality," Sangmin Lee, CEO and co-founder of Huenit.
And by saying “all” we mean a cute robotic arm with a list of features that would appear to be aiming to replace a number of dedicated devices.
Huenit can lift a 750g (around 26.5oz) payload, has a 390mm (around 15.4") reach, a 500mm/s (around 19.7" per second) speed, and a 0.05mm (around 0.002") accuracy Huenit can easily be used for any type of project.
Cutting edge AI
The AI Camera is equipped with a 2-megapixel sensor that — combined with the Kendryte K210 RISC-V-based computer system — can capture 30 frames per second. It also comes complete with an intuitive 2.4" touchscreen display, a MEMS microphone for voice recognition as well as a 0.5W speaker.
Powered by 60x RGB LED, this cute robotic arm is capable of a variety of artificial intelligence technologies such as face recognition, image classification, object detection, line tracking, color recognition, human segmentation, and more.
Laser cutting and engraving
The HUENIT robot can use a high-power laser to cut and engrave paper, wood, leather, anodized aluminum, and other materials. It can also work with a pen to draw and write.
With the Creator Module, you can use this robot to handle a smartphone, cup, or utensil. You can easily create your own artificial intelligence models with simple photo data. A variety of well-trained artificial intelligence models are also available. The AI camera can operate alone, so it can be connected with open-source hardware like Arduino, Raspberry Pi as well as HUENIT using a UART port.
Huenit is the only assistant you will ever need
Whether you want to use the AI camera, 3D printer, laser engraver, or just the basic robot arm, Huenit has you covered. The core functionality is located right under the display. You can easily switch between different modules — from suction grabber to pen holder to 2.5W laser engraver and 3D printer.
And to add to all these features, Huenit has a Creator mode that enables the users to program this robotic arm to do almost anything. The module includes mounting via M3 bolt, a serial port for communication with any electronics you may wish to add, and 24V and 5V power outputs.
