Centrefold Guitar by Devillian

it was the year of 2007 and the Centrefold guitar from DeVillain Guitar Co just hit the market. While Video Matt was working at the Synthesis Magazine located in Chico California his co worker Spencer received one of the guitars to test out. This is a video review of that centerfold guitar. The original air date of this video was in September of 2007 on the Synthesis Magazine youtube channel. Since the channel is no longer active Video Matt decided to upload this classic again for the nostalgic feeling.

"Just released at the Musikmesse in Frankfurt, the Centrefold is a folding electric guitar which, apparently, stays in tune: The strings roll into the body when it's folded, and when it is straightened out it's ready to play. We'll see about that – guitars tend to lose tuning if the temperature changes.

It was invented by S airline pilot Fredrik Johansson (probably not the UK special forces). A guitarist himself, he got sick of banging up regular guitars on his travels. The airplane connection goes further than that; the bracket mechanism is made from aircraft grade aluminum.

DeVillain haven't skimped on the components either. Grover locking tuners and DiMarzio humbuckers keeping this paradoxically old school.
