2020 Battle at the Brickyard - LO206 Masters Heat 1

First race at this event. Qualified 41 out of about 65 to 70 drivers, so I was back in the group. Three wide start, and track was still a little greasy in spots from the previous day's rain. My local track isn't near as big, and we rarely get much over 50 MPH. If you plan to do well, drafting is a necessity. Unfortunately, drafting is not something I'm practiced at, as you'll see in the video. I gave it a shot when I could.

Big melee shortly after the green flag. Also, early on, someone hooked my rear bumper with their front, and I thought my kart broke because I had no more power. We stayed attached for about 30 yards, until I realized what happened, and broke free. Got spun later, but still had a fun run. Kart held together well. With the spin, I fell pretty far back, but that's how it goes. Vids from the Pre-final and Final are on the way.
