God's wrath is not to destroy the sinners, but another expression of God's deep love, and His desire for the sinners to repent and return to Him, just like the Parent disciplines His children who went astray. Thus, God's wrath accomplishes His righteous purpose.

It is written, "You will know that I, the Lord, have poured out My wrath on you." How hard the human heart is to know God only after receiving His wrath!
