Amaro Sgroppino | Master Your Glass

This episode of MYG was filmed on the day before National root beer float day (8/6/2020) to
show you what I would do with any leftover rootbeer and vanilla ice cream. I make a Rootbeer
Sgroppino which is a whisked cocktail (no ice and no bartools) made with Amaro Ramazzotti,
Breyers “Homemade” Vanilla Ice cream, Pure Himalayan salt, and Henry Weinhard’s Rootbeer.

**************************************

AMARO SGROPPINO (AKA ADULT ROOT BEER FLOAT)
1 oz (30ml) Amaro Ramazzotti
1.5 Cup (375ml) Vanilla Ice Cream
1 oz (30ml) Root Beer
2 Pinches Pure Himalayan Salt (Optional but highly recommended)
Pour the Ramazzotti amaro into a bowl, measuring cup, or a mixing glass. Add the Vanilla Ice
cream, half portion of the root beer (so .5 oz.) and start whisking to soften the ice cream and
mix the ingredients together.
Add enough more root beer to soften the mix up yet keep it fluffy. Pour in a flute or any other
cup that is minimum 8 oz. in size. And Enjoy!
Garnish: Mint top
