Watch Trump Set Reporter Straight & Watch the Audience Break Out in Cheers Against Fake News. Trump held a press briefing in New Jersey on August 7, 2020, to announce his plans to sign an executive order to enact a stimulus to help those in need due to the Covid-19 CCP virus. Toward the end, a reporter asked a "gotcha" question about mask-wearing and it blew up in the reporter's face. Trump corrected the reporter's erroneous statement and the crowd booed the reporter. Then Trump went on to explain that without fake news media, the country would be so much better off. As he exited the crowd cheered.
