This is my project making an AI generated origami.
The project is still in its initial steps, but it's promising and already could create a valid and not trivial (not trivial at all) crease pattern for me to fold.
The result was one fold away to become a whale because the AI was still weak in creating symmetry, thus avoiding the folds that crossed the diagonal line.
For anyone who wondered who was the "author" of this origami, well, it was my AI running in my PC. That's why I said "He won't read the comments"

Some other improvements I still want to make (or someone else to make it faster):

Easy ones:
1 - A program that gets a crease pattern picture and converts is to a .cp file
2 - Improve the "tools" so the AI is already forced to create a symmetrical origami, giving it more freedom to create the lines without worrying about correcting the reflected side all the time.
3 - Create other convolutions to gather more relevant informations

Hard ones:
1 - Create an AI that generates the crease pattern from a drawing, implementing the "shape proximity" and "paper usage" as fitness functions.
2 - Create an AI that generates the crease pattern without the need of a genetic algorithm, improving the processing time and the certainty of result.

Thanks a lot for watching this video!
