PM Trudeau and Spanish PM Pedro Sánchez deliver joint statement as bilateral visit concludes

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and his Spanish counterpart Pedro Sánchez deliver a joint statement following their meeting in Madrid. The Canadian prime minister was in Spain to attend the NATO summit from June 28 to June 30, and also to participate in an official one-day bilateral visit hosted by Sánchez. Spain was the final stop of Trudeau's 10-day foreign trip, during which he also took part in the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting in Kigali, Rwanda, and the G7 Summit in Elmau, Germany.
