The land of giant peaches and peppers

Giant sweet peppers (variety Goliath) and huge peaches (Starking Delicious) on tap today! I plan to roast and freeze the peppers (and use some in salsa) and to can the peaches next week.

I canned 27 quarts of vegetables for soup today but I already have a video from last year on the process so I didn't do that again! Next week or two: crushes tomatoes, marinara sauce, and salsa. Plus the peaches! Glad I'm retired!
