I spent all day today just trying to figure out why my drones were dropping. After hours of research and troubleshooting in BetaFlight I got them back to stock.
I was just trying to get my new controller to connect. Turns out it has faulty signaling. Got to return it. I got everything back to stock tho.
I told myself when I started this to wait to fly but something about today said go do it. I had three 1s batteries to use.
I start off taking it easy. Then at somepoint I accidently flicked it to Horizon mode. I don't regret it.
Horizon mode is legit. The first time I fly this thing it just took off in the wind and I had no idea what I was doing.
This is around 3-4 weeks of sim training. If you want to start FPV Flying I highly suggest setting up a way to learn in a simulator.
It helped me out a lot. Near the end of this session I was doing rolls, flips, and stuff. All thanks to training hard.
This was super fun. Such a different experience then in a game. I'ma be flying way more often.
