What Is Arminianism?

A doctrinal sermon (What is Arminianism) based, established, resting on the word of God as TRUTH (John 17:17) by Pastor Nelson Turner (AV1611HOUR).
This sermon addresses and should settle in the heart of every listener who has been given ears to hear and eyes to see by the LORD (Proverbs 20:12) all of the following:
* man's ability or absolute lack thereof regarding meritorious works worthy of recognition by God in settlement for the debt for sin
* the power of man's free will -- if such a thing exists apart from what the Lord God in His eternal unchanging will and perfection has ordained from before the creation of the world to occur in time -- to in any way alter in the course of time that which God Himself has determined shall be from the beginning to the end of time.
* the inability of man to earn "brownie points", or claim of reward, or indulgences or recognition for goodness, virtue, righteousness of his own effort apart from the righteousness which God has chosen to place in His elect (and in no others) to His honor and glory in manifestation of His perfect mercy and justice.
* The evidence present throughout the word of God, Holy Scripture (the Bible), affirming the doctrines of grace ("TULIP"), and showing the futility of so-called "free will" works originating in man -- indeed their abhorrence in the sight of God.
May this succinct teaching be for the edification of the faithful, and the conversion to truth for the Elect who, though saved by God's grace, yet labor in self-delusion of vain works as some supplement to the finished work of salvation accomplished by the death and Resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ as atonement for sin and victory over death for His people.
