Posterior Body Lift for Silicone Injection Removal from the Buttocks

Today we have a patient in her 30's who about 10 years ago got SOMETHING injected into her buttocks- we believe it's silicone, but there's no way to really tell. Like many other victims of illegal silicone injections the patient quickly began to develop pain in her buttocks radiating down her legs and into her back. Her buttocks also began swelling because of the scar tissue growing around the silicone in her buttock. During an MRI we found silicone had spread into the patient's muscles. So Dr. Katzen performs a posterior body lift to surgically remove as much silicone product as possible
