GIVING OUR ALL FOR THE GLORY OF GOD

1 Corinthians 10:31 King James Version
31 Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.

GOOD EVENING IN YESHUA EVERYONE!!!

There's something about these verses of scripture from Colossians, that really challenged my heart, even though I'm no longer in the workforce. It's challenging me to make certain that with whatever I'm doing, whether it's the volunteer work that God has allowed me to do, or what I do around my home, I wanna make sure but I do it for the Lord. I want to make certain that I am following not only the words of this morning scripture, but the scripture above, and making sure that I am doing all for the glory of my savior. I think that's why the questions from this morning's devotional are so challenging to my heart, and I'd like to share them with you tonight. Please read these questions very carefully, think on them, and allow God to speak to your heart through them.

On your job, what pressures do you feel to please others or yourself?

In what ways would you work improve on every level if you started working “as for the Lord”?

I have been deeply thinking about these questions, especially right now that I'm disabled, I'm no longer able to work. I think about them, because even though I'm not in the workforce, I'm serving the Lord, and I wanna make sure that even in the “little things” I do for God, but I give it my all for Him. what I'd like to do tonight, is share some things that God has put on my heart through this blog I'd like to share with you tonight. I pray that you'll watch this vlog, listen to what I say very carefully, and that you'll learn to give God your all too. As I close this post for this evening, I pray that you will remember just Who you serve, and that you choose to serve Him to the best of your ability. That in everything you say and do, no matter how small it might seem, that you do it as unto the Lord, knowing that God sees what you do, and if done genuinely to honor him, He will honor you for it. Remember that in everything you do, you want to make sure that you give God your all in it, because bottom line you are working for God. Ask God to lead and anoint your work for Him, to be front and center and everything that you say and do, whether it's in your employment, volunteering, what you do around your home, for church, or anything that you say and do, do it all for God's glory!
