Russia withdraws troops from Snake Island in 'goodwill gesture' to alleviate food crisis

Russian troops have been withdrawn from strategic Snake Island on the Black Sea, taken immediately after the special military operation started on February 24th. Moscow describes the move as a goodwill gesture to support UN efforts to facilitate Ukrainian grain exports.
