Will the XBox Series X be the last hurrah for Microsoft in the console market? I think it will be Microsoft's last console, but that is just one man's opinion. I think that Project xCloud will ultimately take over as Microsoft's dominant means of providing video game entertainment.

Note: On September 21, 2020, it was announced that Microsoft purchased the parent company of Bethesda. I believe that this further cements my theory.

I was on a stream with "Relic Gamer" and "Mad Max" from "MOVIE MADNESS ENTERTAINMENT" (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCOveAVjjYF5NcR5Ik7Qs0FA/videos) discussing the latest about the Intellivision Amico and we were migrated off into a topic about the annoyances of modern gaming. This disrupted a perfectly good Intellivision Amico conversation.

During that time, I provided an anecdote about my experience with Batman Arkham Knight and added my theory that the XBox Series X (or S) will be Microsoft's last console and provided reasons.
