Hiking the Blue Ridge Otter Creek Trail from Terrapin Hill to the Otter Creek Campground

The last happy memories I had with my mother was taking her for rides on the Blue Ridge Parkway. I visited her when I could after Dad died from one of the many places I lived in the military and working for various corporations. Many times we drove past the Otter Creek campground and I always wanted to camp there but it was always closed.

Mom died Cinco de Mayo, it was a beautiful day, so I decided to hike the Blue Ridge Parkway Otter Creek trail from Terrapin Hill to the Otter Creek campground. It was a beautiful day that I enjoyed very much remembering. A hike I hope you will enjoy also.
