Why MSNBC Will Be Dead in 20 Years

In this segment, James discusses the impending demise of MSNBC and why MSNBC will not be around in 20 years time, along with the impact the decline of mainstream cable news will have on American politics.

As evidenced by the 2016 and 2020 Democratic primary, cable news outlets play a huge role in shaping how Americans vote. But in the coming years, MSNBC will likely face a demographic challenge as their viewer base continues to age, and with a line-up lead by the likes of Rachel Maddow, Chuck Todd, and Nicole Wallace, they seem ill-poised to draw in a younger crowd. The end of MSNBC is inevitable if they continue to function as a propaganda tool for the Democratic Party, due to the continual democratization and proliferation of new media.

By the way, the year is 2020, so I'll be sure to come back and view this again in 2040 to see if my prediction became reality!
