Mindfulness is the ability to be present in the moment, fully aware of where we are and what we are doing, and not overly reactive or overwhelmed by what’s going on around us. The goal of mindfulness is not to quiet the mind, or attempting to achieve a state of eternal calm. The goal is simply to pay attention to the now, without judgment.
