Lombok best beaches - Mawun Beach and Tanjung Aan beach

Today we want to show you 2 of the beaches from South the of Lombok. Mawun Beach is one of the most picturesque beaches that you’ll find on the Indonesia island of Lombok. Also known as Pantai Mawun, this beach is a wide bay of white sand that drops into deep, protected turquoise waters. It’s about 20 minutes from Kuta. This beach is shaped like a horseshoe with different water depths and wave strength. Mawun Beach a pleasant relaxing location is not too popular yet with tourists, so you don’t have to worry about the beach being overcrowded.

Tanjung Aan Beach is covered in pristine white sand, and with its iconic swings, is a place you must experience. It’s around 15 minutes’ drive from Kuta. This beach stretches around 2 km of its pearlescent coastline, facing the glistening ocean. Besides sightseeing, you can also swim and snorkel here since the waves of this beach are perfect for those activities. Surfing is also a popular activity to try here.
From there you can head to a beautiful sunset viewpoint nearby Bukit Merese Hills Sunset Viewpoint.
