You cannot visit Jakarta and miss the iconic and charming Kota Tua, Jakarta’s old town. Luar Biasa Kota Tua. We had so much fun there, you can interact with locals, revive a little of Indonesia's history, rent a bicycle and go around the square, choose one of many museums to visit (we visited the puppet museum, called Wayang Museum, and have a coffee in one of the oldest buildings in the square, the notorious Batavia Cafe.
This place is certainly one of the best things to do in Jakarta. Holland or Indonesia? You have a feeling that you are in Holland.
