Starving artist

According to some people, artists are not necessary for society... this video was made in 2014, many years before the famous world lockdown.

Surely in confinement many of these people missed some entertainment made by artists such as a movie, a series or listening to music.

Opinion of one of these people published on the internet:

"Medical research increases life expectancy (measurable), new engineering methods reduce costs, distances, times, etc. (measurable), R&D increases GDP and employment (measurable).

That a crazy person paints four stripes in a painting or that a crazy person compose a pasodoble does not contribute anything in an objective or measurable way. The world will remain the same without their contribution, we don't need them."
